Description
Description
The RED JASPER features a vintage tube amp-like sound with smooth high frequencies, punchy midrange, full and tight bass, and a natural and pleasant compression feel. To further refine this sound, each individual part was carefully selected.
Generally, overdrive pedals change how the bass sounds depending on the gain setting. The way the bass sounds varies depending on the type of guitar, amp, and cabinet. There are many situations where you'll want to correct excessive or insufficient bass. To adjust the bass range, the RJ-2V has a new internal mode switch that lets you select the low-end frequency response.
There are four modes with different low-frequency frequency characteristics (cutoff frequency) that you can choose from, allowing you to adjust the low-frequency output to suit the characteristics of your guitar and amplifier.
The RED JASPER also features a HI-CUT tone circuit for adjusting the high frequencies.
This passive circuit minimizes phase changes in the guitar signal to faithfully amplify the guitar's original sound and obtain a natural tone. It produces a natural change similar to a guitar's tone control. Turning it to the left gently cuts the high frequencies. It outputs the guitar's inflections with rich expressiveness, from a delicate, whispering tone to a powerful, sticky drive sound.
Please experience the newly reborn drive pedal RED JASPER.
■Features
- Carefully selected, highly reliable parts are used.
The tone circuit (high cut) uses a passive circuit that minimizes phase shift of the guitar signal.
- Equipped with a switch that allows you to select the low-end frequency response. You can choose from four modes.
- Achieves an astonishingly good S/N ratio.
・RED JASPER is equipped with HTS (Holistic Tonal Solution) circuitry.
Unlike conventional buffer circuits, the HTS circuit converts impedance while bringing out the guitar's inherent sound characteristics to the fullest extent possible, achieving both excellent sound and low noise.
This HTS circuit prevents deterioration of the guitar or bass sound even when the effect is turned off.
- The output signal is in phase with the input signal, so there is no need to worry about phase inversion.
