Description
Description
Based on the PRS CE bolt-on platform, this guitar features a satin-finish maple neck, maple fingerboard, a Pattern Thin neck with a slightly thinner back, and a Floyd Rose tremolo system. The pickups and electronics are unique to this model. The pickups are Waring's signature Mojotone DW Tomahawk pickups. Featuring a blend of ceramic and alnico magnets and a custom winding technique, the DW Tomahawk is a unique high-gain pickup that delivers powerful output and a rich bottom end, while also retaining finesse and clarity. Controls include volume and tone, as well as a 5-way blade pickup selector. The selector has been slightly repositioned to allow for more space for the tremolo. The DW CE 24 Floyd is comfortable, fun, and inspiring to play.
"This model is the most stable and fun to play I've ever used. From the moment I tried it out I was proud to have a guitar that bears my name." Dustie Waring, Between the Buried & Me
The guitar is in player's condition, with a slight chip on the top edge of the body, some dents and scratches, some tarnish on parts, rust on screws, and a glossy finish due to use. The frets remain at about 70% of their original height, and there are no issues with playability, including the neck and electrical components, making it a guitar you can continue to use relentlessly. Currently tuned to standard, it combines the crisp sound of the CE with the performance benefits of a Floyd Rose, making it a truly PRS player's guitar. Used guitars are hard to come by, so don't miss this opportunity!
