~~~~~The following is the product description for a new item. ~~~~~
Over the past decade, Boston-based band Revocation has firmly established themselves as one of the pinnacles of modern death metal and thrash metal.
One of modern metal's elite guitarists, frontman David Davidson continues to challenge traditional metal norms as Revocation continues to evolve, and this continues to be the driving force behind the band.
Jackson continues his history by working with some of the best engineers in the metal industry to develop the Davidson Pro Series Signature Dave Davidson Warrior WR7.
His 7-string model features a 25.5" (647.7mm) scale length, mahogany back/ash top, and a one-piece through-body maple neck with graphite reinforcement and scarf joints. The 12" (304.8mm)-16" (406.4mm) compound radius ebony fingerboard with 24 jumbo frets is designed for fast, technical playing.
The neck profile is more curved near the nut for comfortable chording and flattens out in the upper positions, allowing for speedy playing and a wide range of bending without having to fret out.
To complement the Revocation's rich and complex chord voicings, Davidson worked with DiMarzio to develop the proprietary Imperium pickup, enhancing this signature tone with dynamics and punchy clarity.
It is designed to deliver clear, crisp sound from the full-bodied, tight low end when used with a high-gain amplifier to the clarity of the clean channel, and is also highly responsive to harmonics.
This battle axe features one tone control, one volume control with push/pull coil split for single coil tone, and one 3-way toggle switch.
The Floyd Rose FRT 1000 Series double-locking tremolo bridge provides excellent string stability, sustain, and dynamic tremolo action for ultimate playing comfort.
With a distressed ash finish, black body, neck and headstock binding, and black hardware, this signature Warrior is dark and menacing, always ready for battle.
