Moon is popular for its high-quality instruments and reasonable pricing, and by producing only a few instruments per day, they have stubbornly maintained their quality. They are a proud Japanese component manufacturer that continues to be supported by many artists both in Japan and abroad, including Larry Graham, Randy Hope Taylor, Mitsuru Sudo, TAKE-SHIT (cocobat), and Mitsuru Okamine (THE BACK HORN).
This is Moon's standard 5-string active JB model, custom-finished to our shop's specifications. It features an alder body, ebony fingerboard, Moon's original OXALIS pickups, and a Bartolini XTCT preamp. While offering a foundational sound with a thumping bass and peak highs, it also boasts the thickness and resilience of alder. Depending on the settings, you can further enhance the rich overtones and clarity, creating a sound that won't get lost in a band ensemble. Combined with the playability of a JB-style model, this versatile model is perfect for any genre or playing style.
The all-black color scheme features a cell-bound fingerboard with block position marks. The matching headstock creates a sleek overall impression. We ship via FedEx. Shipments are fully insured against damage or loss during transit.
