The standard model of Focal monitor speakers, offering realistic sound images and a sense of scale, with precise and accurate reproduction capabilities.
The Focal Professional CMS series has been adopted by numerous studios and broadcast stations since its launch in December 2008. While achieving compact size, it also delivers the well-balanced, wide-range, high-resolution, tight, rich bass required in modern recording environments, all at a great cost performance.
The CMS series' challenges were met by the Focal Professional team, who tackled them from the ground up. Listen to the realistic sound image and sense of scale, as well as the precise and accurate reproduction of every detail, all of which are hard to imagine from such a compact size.
●Proprietary driver made with newly developed materials The robust and highly damped die-cast aluminum body, its sufficient thickness, and the unique internal acoustic treatment suppress reverberation, completely eliminating the occurrence of so-called "ringing."
●A sturdy enclosure that fully brings out the driver's performance.Uses an innovative tweeter magnet circuit that shows the highest stability against temperature changes.
A consistent soundstage begins with optimal placement, and CMS is equipped for that. Easily adjustable height spikes allow you to find the perfect angle for your listener.
In addition, the renowned NE5532 preamp circuit allows for control of features such as the "HF Shelving" and "LF Shelving" functions, which allow you to adjust the acoustic characteristics to suit the environment, and the "Desktop Notch" correction function (CMS50.65 only), which prevents problems that can occur when the unit is placed on a mixer desk.
Furthermore, by combining it with the CMS SUB, you can create a playback environment down to the ultra-low range, and it can meet all your needs as a compact speaker system, such as 2.1ch or 5.1ch.
