The "Wild" cymbal, which was introduced in 1982, was a model manufactured at the Pearl factory in Japan at the time.
This was a unique type of cymbal that was created with a completely different concept from the CX-600 series that was already in the lineup.
The CX-600 is a professional-grade cymbal manufactured from specially formulated phosphor bronze.
Careful processing was carried out, including well-researched heat treatment and machine hammering to produce uniform quality.
The "WILD" 600 uses phosphor bronze like the CX-600, but thanks to its special surface treatment, it is characterized by a rough and heavy sound.
The flashy and intense ride sound, the shocking and powerful crash sound are clear,
It proved particularly effective and popular in genres such as heavy metal and hard rock, which demanded even more power at the time.

The China type was not included in the lineup when the Wild series was introduced in 1982.
It was then added to the lineup in the mid-1980s.
Pearl began importing SABIAN cymbals into Japan in the 1980s, but prior to that they imported PAiSTe cymbals.
Perhaps as a result of this influence, the product has a distinctive shape, hammering, and surface finish that is similar to PAiSTe's RUDE series.
As per the concept of the series, it has a medium pitch, a very hard attack, a straight and powerful sound projection, and quick decay.
