Kazuki Isogai × Momose Modern Virtuoso Series

As the name suggests, this is Momose Custom Craft Guitars' flagship line, which aims to develop guitars for "modern master players" and is made with specifications that prioritize functionality and high-grade components.
The "MJS-MV Kazuki Isogai" was developed as part of the top-of-the-line Modern Virtuoso Series to embody the various requirements of Kazuki Isogai.


◆Tochi 2P Body
Kazuki Isogai has tried out many JMs, including vintage ones, and has concluded that the Momose Tochigi body is the one with the most usable sound for live performances.
Even before developing his signature model, he had been using the Momose MJM model with its Tochigi body on numerous occasions and in recording sessions, and after receiving the thumbs-up from engineers and fellow artists, he decided to use Tochigi for his signature model in order to further refine the tone.
Tochigi wood has a moderate weight and a relatively soft texture, and the sound is characterized by a moderately solid tone with a bright and clear midrange. The distortion is also good, and the sound resonates from a slightly lower center of gravity, making it suitable for a variety of genres, including rock and pop.

◆Wange Fingerboard
The fingerboard is made of wenge, a beautiful wood with a dark brown grain and a black striped pattern. Its excellent hardness and strength produce a fast attack and a tight sound. Combined with the Jescar Evolution Gold frets, which have a subtle gold hue, this contributes to a crisp tone and allows the player's nuances to be accurately expressed.
The slightly flat 280R fingerboard radius also reduces clogging when bending on the higher frets, allowing players to enjoy long tones that resonate comfortably.
Luminray side dots are used for the side dots.
This specification is extremely popular among live stage performers, as it is extremely useful during live performances where the lighting is often dimmed.

◆Mojotone Clone '59 pickup
The pickups are hand-wired "Mojotone" pickups manufactured in North Carolina, USA. They also handle OEM orders for over 250 brands, and are highly acclaimed for their distinctive vintage feel.
The Clone '59 pickup was created by testing numerous vintage Jazz Master® pickups and selecting the '59 model that had the most remarkable sound. The pickup's coil winding and tension were carefully studied to recreate its captivating tone.
The reverse-wound, reverse-polarity design provides a hum-canceling effect that reduces noise when mixing.

◆Neck Plate
It is joined with an original neck plate with Isogai's icon and signature laser engraved on it.
The neck plate uses a conventional plate joint to maintain the traditional sound characteristics, but the plate is recessed, which prevents your hand from getting caught on the plate even when playing in high positions near the joint, improving playability.

A guitarist living in Tokyo, he has over 200,000 followers on Instagram and is popular both in Japan and overseas.
Participated in 2019 NAMM SHOW.
In the same year, they gradually expanded overseas, touring Asia, America, Europe, and Africa.
In addition to his own activities, he also supports and records artists such as Kimura Kaela, Creepy Nuts, and SKY-HI.
Joined SANABAGUN in 2022.
His own signature model, "Momose MJS-MV Kazuki Isogai," is now available under the Momose brand.
