Description

Consignment sales (consignment items)

CORONA Guitars has garnered attention worldwide for its unique and beautiful design! We have a beautiful pre-owned APE-2000 with tremolo from the innovative headless design "Aphrodite" now in stock!

CORONA is a guitar brand launched by Schoolmusic, a major Korean musical instrument company. They launched CORONA guitars in 2009 with the philosophy of "musicians making instruments for musicians." The headless model we're introducing today was introduced in 2016 as the "Aphrodite," and has become a favorite with many musicians thanks to its outstanding cost performance, compact headless design, and modern specifications.

The body is crafted from lightweight swamp ash with a beautiful flame maple top. Its lightweight, easy-to-handle design, unique to headless models, complements the crisp, rich resonance of swamp ash. The neck features a five-piece maple neck with well-nut fills, emphasizing maneuverability and strength for playing in a variety of environments. It also broadens the range of the EMG pickups, eliminating the lack of resonance often found in headless models and contributing significantly to the guitar's straight, clear sound. The grip is a firm, C-round, making it easy to switch between and grip with other brands' guitars.

What's noteworthy is the original bridge. While it has two points, it differs from the conventional knife-edge mechanism in that it uses a bearing type, reducing friction and achieving smooth operation and incredible strength. The bridges on which the strings rest are independent, making it easy to adjust the string height. The zero-fret mechanism allows for the use of standard strings, making it an extremely user-friendly product.

The open-pore finish intentionally leaves the pores unfilled, resulting in unevenness due to the grain of the ash wood used for the body.

*As for the condition, there are no dents or other damage to the frets, and more than 80% of the frets remain. We have also confirmed that there is sufficient clearance for the truss rod.
The electrical system is in good condition, but there are small dents on the corners of the body, small scratches overall, and some cloudiness on the metal parts.

*Please refer to the photos for any particularly noticeable scratches.
