Description
Description
The MI Audio Compressor can be customized to your liking with its powerful set of controls.
A level control and clip indicator allow you to adjust the input signal at the beginning of the chain.
Adjusts the clarity of the compressor and matches the compressor to the pickup. The LED lights up if the signal is too strong.
Sustain adjusts the amount of compression/sustain of the signal.
Adjust the feel and response of your compressor pedal with the attack and release controls.
Attack adjusts how quickly the compressor responds, while release controls how long the compression level is maintained.
The Gate adjusts the noise gate level. It's set to about 50%, but it depends on your guitar and pickups. It has a very fast response.
The gate also features an internal trimmer to control the release time.
The factory setting is minimum, cutting noise as quickly as possible. Use the volume for level correction, solo boost, or to overdrive an amplifier or other pedal.
Generally, the traditional way to use a compressor is to set the volume control so that the bypass volume is the same as the original signal.
The MI Effects compressor pedal is true bypass and features a durable 3PDT footswitch and a powder-coated silkscreened enclosure.
It operates from a 9V battery or optional DC power supply and has up to 25V headroom.
