Description
Description
The EAD10 consists of a main unit (sound generator) and a sensor unit that combines a microphone and trigger. By attaching the sensor unit to the bass drum hoop, it is possible to capture high-quality acoustic drum sounds and process the tone by adding effects, etc. In addition, by using the iOS app, you can easily record high-quality performance videos, easily edit them, and upload them to video sharing sites.
1. Easy setup for professional miking
The EAD10's sensor unit consists of an XY-type stereo condenser microphone and trigger unit that have been specially tuned by Yamaha engineers. By attaching it to the top of the bass drum hoop on the striking side (as shown in the attached photo), you can monitor the sound of the entire drum set with natural balance and positioning in high quality.
2. Monitor/record high-quality acoustic drum sounds
The drum sound picked up by the EAD10's sensor unit can be clearly monitored through headphones, or recorded to the main unit's internal memory or USB memory for playback. An AUX jack is also provided, allowing you to connect a portable music player, etc., and simultaneously monitor the player's playback sound and the high-quality miked sound while you perform.
3. A variety of effect sounds that expand the possibilities for drummers
The EAD10 lets you customize your drum sounds by applying your favorite effects to the audio signal captured by the sensor unit's microphone. It also captures trigger signals from the sensor unit's trigger, allowing you to add trigger sounds to your bass drum hits. The EAD10 main unit features over 30 effects, including reverb and delay, and over 750 trigger sounds. In addition to combining these effects into 50 preset scenes, you can also customize and save 200 of your own scenes. Adding a variety of sounds to your acoustic drums expands the expressive potential of your drumming. It also offers excellent expandability by incorporating optional drum triggers and electronic drum DTX pads.
4. High scalability thanks to integration with the free iOS app "Rec'n'Share"
The iOS app "Rec'n'Share" is included. Simply select your favorite song from your library and the app will detect the tempo and add a click. It also features tempo change and repeat playback, providing powerful support for drum practice.
Additionally, by using the app to shoot videos on an iOS device, you can easily create high-quality performance videos using audio captured by the EAD10, and you can even mix, edit, and upload videos all within the app.
- This application is used by connecting your iOS device and the EAD10 main unit with a USB cable. You can use Apple's Lightning-USB Camera Adapter to connect your iOS device to the USB cable.
"Rec'n'Share can be downloaded for free from the Apple App Store.
