Description
Description
Since its founding in 1979, legendary guitar builder/repairman Roger Sadowsky has built, repaired, and customized instruments for numerous top artists across genres, and is trusted by musicians around the world.
Starting with the famous Marcus 77JB, by modifying instruments used by New York studio musicians and manufacturing instruments under his own brand, he established the "Active JB" style that is now adopted by many manufacturers, and offered new possibilities for bass sound to the music scene from the 1980s onwards.
This is a standard 4-string model with superb specifications, featuring a beautiful exotic grained spalted maple top on an ash chamber body and a birdseye maple fingerboard.
If you simply want to enjoy the high-quality Sadowsky sound, the simple specifications without any options are more than sufficient, but the appeal of this brand is that it also has gorgeous guitars that you will want to pick up and fall in love with just by looking at them.
The unique chamber structure in the body makes it a lightweight and well-balanced instrument, while maintaining a solid sound and producing a rich, natural tone. This achieves the acoustic quality that Roger Sadowsky envisions with an exquisite balance, resulting in a stunning, superb sound.
In addition to the original 2-band EQ that produces a lustrous and powerful active sound, it is also equipped with a passive tone control, allowing for more precise tone correction while maintaining the dynamic sound characteristics.By switching to passive mode, you can make the most of the instrument's sound without clashing with the characteristics of the amplifier, making it an extremely useful instrument for both live performances and recording.
As for the condition, there are a few small scratches on the fingerboard and back of the neck that do not affect playability, and there is some wear (shininess) on the top of the pickup cover, but other than that there is no particularly noticeable damage, and there are no concerns about the functionality of each part, such as the effectiveness of the truss rod or significant wear on the frets.
You will definitely regret missing this!
Don't miss this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity!
