The Ray34 is a direct descendant of the legendary Music Man Stingray active bass. This bass offers excellent value for money.
The MUSICMAN "Stingray" model is a legendary instrument that enjoys strong support across a wide range of musical genres, from punk/rock to jazz/fusion. Stalin is a brand that brings that sound and feel to a wider audience. This Stalin model inherits the specifications and sound of the original MusicMan Stingray bass.
This RAY34 model features a poplar burl top/Nyataw back body, roasted maple neck, and rosewood fingerboard. The exotic wood body top and clear pickguard accentuate the grain, giving it a distinctive appearance reminiscent of the original Stingray commemorative models.
The assembly also features a humbucking pickup and a three-band active equalizer specially designed by Music Man for this model. This model delivers a powerful output that strongly resembles the original, with a distinctive, thick, and loud bass tone and a lustrous, defined sound. The direct, core-like sound is just as you'd expect. Whether you play with a pick, fingers, or slap, you'll enjoy the booming, dynamic bass.
