Schilke
Founder Renold O. Schilke was a successful trumpeter with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra and the WGN Radio Orchestra, among others.
He was a talented performer, but he also made mouthpieces and tuned instruments during his playing days.
While active as a top player, he also taught at Northwestern University, DePaul University, Roosevelt University, and other institutions. From his experiences in the educational field, he realized the need for mouthpieces that suited the player, and his involvement in their production was the beginning of today's Silky.

This mouthpiece has signs of use overall, with scratches and dents on the rim, body, and shank, as well as distortion at the tip of the shank.
*No accessories such as package cases are included.
The mouthpiece is sold separately.
