Inspired by one of the world's most legendary jazz guitarists, the lightweight all-tube GB Twin Reverb delivers smooth, sustained, and rich tone. This dual-channel amplifier delivers everything George Benson demanded from his ideal amp: a powerful, articulate amplifier. The GB Twin Reverb refines the classic amp that so delighted his ears. The first tube in the normal channel has been replaced with a 12AY7, providing a low-gain voice ideal for complex midrange and smooth clean tones. The speakers remain faithful to the original: two neodymium 8-ohm Jensen Tornado 12-inch speakers deliver dynamic attack, brilliant highs, and a crisp, crisp sound when overdriven. The lightweight speakers, combined with the use of a resonant solid pine cabinet, contribute to a total weight reduction of 13 pounds. Using four powerful 6L6 power tubes, this amplifier delivers 85W of power and ample headroom, perfect for producing clean jazz tones. Like the music it inspires, the GB Twin Reverb's elegant design is finished to deliver a sharp look and a warm, exquisite sound.
