Aggressive OverDrive 2ndEra Details
This is a completely new effect pedal that has been extensively improved from ENT EFFECTS' first product, the Aggressive Over Drive (aka AOD), with over half of the parts changed to create a completely new effect pedal.It is a new and unprecedented TS-type high-gain overdrive that has been tuned as a "next-generation TS-type pedal" and a "pedal that inherits the sound quality of ENT EFFECTS."
The AOD 1st is an effect pedal that aims to expand on the sound quality of TS pedals, and was created as an overdrive that is as powerful as possible within the TS pedal framework. Over the course of about three years, extensive research was conducted to create a bold modification that would shake up the "TS pedal" brand, and this pedal was completed. While retaining the "lustrous mids" of TS pedals, the range, response, and gain width have been improved over the AOD 1st, and the TS pedal circuitry has been refined, resulting in a sound quality with undulating harmonics and a biting feel.
This product was designed to be a versatile effect that can be used in any situation, and has a gain range from crunch to lead tones, and the volume range has been expanded so that it can also function as a booster.
Unlike TS pedals, which typically cut highs and lows and emphasize mids, the AOD2ndEra does not cut highs or lows, reproducing a natural range that brings out the true character of the guitar and amp. Additionally, a carefully thought-out circuit configuration has been adopted for this pedal, which gives it the characteristic midrange feel of TS pedals. Furthermore, ENT EFFECTS' know-how has been poured into this pedal, resulting in a classic tone character that will not disappoint as a practical pedal.
Aggressive OverDrive 2nd Era Internal Specifications
This unit is luxuriously equipped with two Analog Devices "AD712" op-amps. These excellent op-amps have a linear response, enhanced response speed and bandwidth, while retaining the smooth tone of the TS. They are the foundation of the AOD2ndEra's character.
We hope you will use it in a variety of situations, not just within the TS category.
Level: The gain is approximately 10 times greater than when bypassed, making it ideal as a booster.
Drive: 10 o'clock is the maximum gain for a typical TS overdrive, and turning it further will give you a high-gain sound that rivals distortion.
When the Drive is set to 0, the sound is completely clean, and the buffer circuit of the operational amplifier "AD712" allows it to be used as a high-quality preamplifier.
Tone: This uses the tone circuit, which is the biggest feature of the TS series. It is based on the 12 o'clock direction and has been modified to mainly control the mid-range tone.
This product is powered by a 9V DC power supply. Please use a stable AC adapter or 9V battery.
●When connecting multiple effects units, please use an AC adapter. If only this unit is powered by batteries, noise may occur depending on the compatibility with other effects units.
