We have a beautiful used item in stock from the ever-popular Larrivee!

Founded in Toronto, Canada in 1967, the manufacturer began by producing classical guitars.
We select and use only the finest veneer materials, and we are very particular about not using plywood or synthetic materials.
It remains highly popular today, and is known to be used by Bruce Cockburn, Justin King, and in Japan by Isato Nakagawa.

This instrument, the D-40R, is a dreadnought-sized model with rosewood back and sides.
The carefully selected veneer, maple binding that decorates the entire instrument, and matte finish create an appearance that brings out the natural beauty of the wood.

The sound is very mellow and has a rounded tone.
The thin finish and unique bracing structure do not interfere with the sound of the wood, resulting in rich volume and deep bass.
Each note has a firm presence, while the rosewood's overtones are fully utilized, making it particularly suitable for use as an accompaniment to vocals.

As for the condition, there are small dents on the head edge and pick marks on the pickguard.
There are no major scratches or dents overall, and the matte paint on the back of the neck still retains its texture, so it shows little signs of use.

There is no visible bulge in the top or twisting of the neck, making it extremely playable.
The string height on the first string seems to be slightly higher than the standard value, but the resulting tension gives the tone a sense of tension, and I feel that the tone is balanced just right.

This instrument has a wonderful tone that can only be experienced with this instrument, and is one that our staff highly recommends.
The retail price for a new item is around 450,000 yen, so this is a great bargain. Be sure to get yours soon!
