A used Martin D-35 Standard!
This popular model was produced in 1965 with a three-piece back due to a shortage of wood, and has since become a standard.Now, it has been given a minor change to give it a more vintage look!
The pickguard features a tortoiseshell pattern, and the top has a pale amber hue, giving this guitar a vintage feel. Not only does it look great, but the neck also features a 44.5mm high-performance taper for improved playability!
In terms of sound, the bracing has been forward shifted and is non-scalloped, resulting in a beautiful balance of delicacy and elegance with a core and firmness.
The traditional three-piece back provides a sense of separation of sound, resulting in a balanced sound from low to high frequencies, making it very popular with studio musicians who say there is "no unnecessary low end" when recording.
There are signs of use such as discoloration on the body top and minor dents not visible in the images. The frets and truss rod are still in good condition, but there is a slight Martin-specific high rise on the neck. The guitar was filed and the string height adjusted upon arrival at our store, so it is playable without any issues.
The binding was peeling, a common problem with Martin guitars, but this has also been repaired properly at our affiliated workshop.
This is a recommended guitar for anyone looking for a used Martin guitar that can be used right away.
