Mid-boost boosts the frequency around 750Hz by 6dB, while mid-cut cuts the frequency around 400Hz by 6dB.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e The tube-like, touch-sensitive drive sound is achieved through an amplification circuit combining MOS FETs and low-noise operational amplifiers, as well as by constantly mixing two gain stages with different frequency characteristics.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e Despite its ultra-compact size, this pedal features three controls on the top (volume, tone, gain), a one-mode switch (mid-EQ), and can be powered by either an external 9VDC power supply or the built-in 006P battery.
