858679
Fender USA VINTAGE Stratocaster '67 Sunburst/R
Since its release in 1954, the Fender Stratocaster has remained a beloved model among guitarists worldwide. When people think of electric guitars, this is the shape that comes to mind for many.

This latest arrival is a rare 1967 model with a large headstock and lacquer finish. It's hard to find one in such pristine condition, so this is definitely worth checking out.

【body】
The total weight is approximately 3.85 kg. The body is made of alder. It is finished in a beautiful 3-tone sunburst lacquer finish with a yellow inner shell. There is some moderate weather checking, a few scratches and dents with paint chipping, and some tarnishing on the metal parts, but considering its age, it is in remarkably good condition. Several tremolo springs appear to have been replaced.

【neck】
The neck is made of maple, and the fingerboard is made of rosewood. The large headstock with a lacquer finish still retains the gold Transition logo. There is some weather checking on the front and back of the headstock commensurate with its age, paint peeling on the back of the neck from use, and some tarnishing on the metal parts, but like the body, it remains in very clean condition. The tuners are original Kluson Deluxe, and although there is some slight variation in the tightness of the winding, they function properly. The nut has been replaced at our workshop WSR, and the frets have also been replaced once, showing almost no wear and providing good playability. The headstock thickness is 16.5mm. The nut width is 40.6mm. The neck shape is not too thin, but it has a nice, clean look.

[Electrical System]
The controls are in the orthodox Stratocaster style: 3-way pickup selector switch, master volume, neck (front) position tone, and center position tone. The pickups are typical of a transitional period, with black bobbins in the front (neck) and center positions, and a gray bobbin in the rear (bridge) position. The rear pickup is shielded, possibly to prevent feedback. The control system parts, including the pickups, are in their original condition.

It boasts the speed and responsiveness characteristic of the large-head era, while never sacrificing thickness and richness in its tone. From the twangy, punchy rock tone typical of the large-head era in the bridge position, to the glossy tone that bites into the picking of the neck and middle positions, it demonstrates a wide range of sounds.

Accessories: Fender black Tolex hard case

Weight: 3.85kg
Body Material: Alder (3 pieces)
Neck Material/Scale Length: Maple 1 piece/648mm (25-1/2inch)
Fingerboard/Fret Marker/Radius: Rosewood round laminate/Pearloid dot/184.15mm (7.25inch)
Nut Width/Fret Size (width): 40.6mm (replaced)/2.0mm (replaced), 21 Fret
Neck Thickness (1F/7F/12F): 21.3mm/22.6mm/23.2mm
Capacitor: Cornell Dubilier Red Dime 50V
Pickup: (Neck/Center) Fender Stratocaster 67 Black Bobbin (5.8kΩ/5.8kΩ) / (Bridge) Fender Stratocaster 67 Gray Bobbin (6.5kΩ)
*The DC resistance value of the pickup is measured after passing through the control section.

Heartman Vintage Guitars is a specialty store for vintage guitars and basses operated by Ikebe Musical Instruments.
//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0638/4173/0673/files/VINTAGE_Stratocaster__67_Sunburst_R_01.jpg?v=1779000181
