869324
GRECO VINTAGE FV-900 '75 Natural
Greco, a long-established company that began making musical instruments in the 1960s and has supported the Japanese music industry for many years to come, produces a wide variety of models, both copies and originals. Their Greco LP copies, in particular, are highly regarded and command high prices in the used market.

This time we have a '58 style FV copy model, the "FV-900N," and based on the specifications and date display, we believe it was manufactured in 1975.

【body】
The total weight is approximately 3.65 kg. The body is made of ash, not korina, and is finished in a deep yellow natural color. Overall, there are scratches, dents, belt buckle scratches, and tarnishing on the metal parts, showing damage commensurate with its age, giving it a battle-hardened look. The pickup ring for the neck (front) position has been replaced, and the ring for the bridge (rear) position is original but has a crack.

【neck】
The neck is made of maple with a rosewood fingerboard. There are a few rice-grain-sized dents on the back of the neck, but it is in relatively good condition. The tuners are the original ones with the G mark, and they are functioning smoothly with little variation in winding. The frets have been leveled and the nut replaced at our shop, so it is very playable. The nut width is approximately 43.9mm. It features a relatively massive neck shape for a Greco from this period.

[Electrical System]
The controls are a standard configuration of [2 volume / 1 tone / 3-way pickup selector switch]. It is equipped with two U-2000 pickups, and the stamp indicates that it was made in 1975. The appeal of the U-series humbuckers is their straightforward, uncolored tone.

Accessories: Hard case

Weight: 3.65kg
Body Material: Ash
Neck Material: Maple
Fingerboard: Rosewood
Nut Width: 43.9mm
Fret Width: 2.7mm
Neck Thickness (1F/7F/12F): 20.9mm/22.1mm/23.7mm
Pickup: Greco U-2000 Humbucker (7.7kΩ/7.7kΩ)
*The DC resistance value of the pickup is measured through the control section.

Heartman Vintage Guitars is a specialty store for vintage guitars and basses operated by Ikebe Musical Instruments.
