The Yosemite pickups have staggered pole pieces with no bevels for high output, and are potted with shellac solution to suppress feedback while producing a dynamic sound.\u003cbr\u003e The American Performer Stratocaster also features a Greasebucket tone circuit that attenuates the low frequencies appropriately when the tone knob is rolled off, preventing muddiness. Furthermore, it is equipped with a push\/pull control that enables the neck pickup in all switch positions, expanding the range of tones.
