It's also ideal for adjusting the tonal balance between when the device is ON and OFF. The BBOD has a particularly high treble response, and even with the Treble knob set to almost minimum (near maximum when turned counterclockwise), it can sometimes provide the best balance depending on the equipment it's paired with. If you need more treble, try setting this knob higher than the center (clockwise). Start shaping your sound with this knob around the 12 o'clock position.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e Volume knob: Adjusts the balance of signal levels when the effect is OFF and ON. Start by setting it to 12 o'clock, and then adjust the tone from there.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e The BBOD is designed for high-impedance guitar pickups. It's especially well-suited for low-output models, and when used with low-output passive pickups, you can freely adjust the gain using the guitar's volume control.\u003cbr\u003e The output is designed for high-input impedance devices such as guitar amplifiers, many effects pedals, and tape echoes. However, connecting some low-input impedance devices, such as certain effects pedals, after the BBOD may cause it to malfunction.
