// Meyer Bros. Connoisseur NY Band Of Bros. for Tenor Sax //

The "Connoisseur Series" for alto saxophone was born in 2021 from Meyer, a brand that reigns supreme as the standard mouthpiece for jazz saxophones.
We are pleased to announce the second installment in the Connoisseur series: the "Band of Bros" model, which brings the style of the Meyer Bros NY alto saxophone to soprano, tenor, and baritone saxophones.

"Connoisseur Series"
From JJ Babbitt, a company that has been manufacturing Meyer mouthpieces for half a century, comes a high-end model in 2021 that is meticulously crafted down to the smallest detail.
Talented, traditional jazz musicians such as Mike Smith, James Bunte, and Mark Colby were deeply involved from the design stage, and the materials were also thoroughly examined, such as adjusting the hardness of the rubber by extending the vulcanization time during hard rubber production.
Furthermore, during manufacturing, two highly skilled craftsmen from JJ Babbitt Company handle the finishing and inspection, resulting in an even higher level of perfection compared to other models.

"Band of Bros"
Unlike the first model in the Connoisseur series, the Meyer Bros. NY, which was a vintage revival, the second model in the Connoisseur series, "Band of Bros," is a newly developed model created in collaboration with Mike Smith, a jazz musician who has played in top-tier bands such as Maynard Ferguson, Buddy Rich, and Frank Sinatra, and is also an artist partner at JJ Babbitt.
Following the overwhelming response to the Meyer Bros. NY alto saxophone, soprano, tenor, and baritone saxophones were developed to match its universal sound and individuality, which covers all genres of jazz, particularly modern jazz. Like the alto saxophone, it features a metal shank ring, resulting in a flexible, warm, powerful, and dark sound.
By pursuing consistency from soprano to baritone, we have achieved not only smooth transitions when switching between multiple instruments, but also a sense of unity throughout the entire saxophone section.
