870298
TOKAI VINTAGE TJB-45 mid80's Yellow Sunburst
Since its founding in 1947, Tokai has manufactured a wide range of musical instruments, including pianos, guitars, and banjos. Its flagship models include the highly acclaimed LP-style LS series and the metal-bodied TALBO series, making it a beloved, long-established manufacturer among many players, both professional and amateur, both domestically and internationally.

This is a Tokai TJB-45, a copy model that Tokai is known for, and it's in player's condition.

【body】
The total weight is approximately 3.1kg. The body is made of sen wood and finished in a bright yellow sunburst color. As you can see, it is a JB copy model. There are signs of use such as scratches, dents, and tarnishing on the metal parts, but considering its age, it is in remarkably good condition.

【neck】
The neck is made of maple and features a round-laminated rosewood fingerboard. The back of the neck shows less damage compared to the body. A faded "45" sticker is visible near the joint. The tuners function properly, although the winding is inconsistent. The frets and nut show significant wear, and the higher frets have very little life left, partly due to a tendency for the frets to rise. However, it appears to have been leveled in the past, and there is currently no extreme buzzing or dead spots. The nut width is approximately 39.5mm. It features a sleek neck shape typical of a JB-type guitar.

[Electrical System]
The controls are [2 Volume / 1 Tone], as per the original. The volume pot has been replaced. The pickups are the original "JB Vintage MkII". Backed by orthodox materials, this guitar delivers the rich bass and clear definition characteristic of a JB.

Accessories: Soft case

Weight: 3.1kg
Cover Material: Sen
Neck Material: Maple
Fingerboard: Rosewood
Nut Width: 39.5mm
Fret Width: 2.0mm
Neck Thickness (1F/7F/12F): 22.0mm/23.8mm/24.9mm
Pickup (Neck/Bridge): Tokai JB Vintage MKII (7.0kΩ/7.1kΩ)
*The DC resistance value of the pickup is measured through the control section.

Heartman Vintage Guitars is a specialty store for vintage guitars and basses operated by Ikebe Musical Instruments.
