After tweaking the Formula 5F6 circuit to achieve a beautiful vintage Bassman response, we wondered, \"What would happen if we boosted the gain on a Bassman without knowing about Marshall?\" By fine-tuning the gain and tone circuits, we created a completely new sound—a high-gain sound with a bright attack. We then made it possible to switch between these sounds using an internal Mode switch.\u003cbr\u003e The Formula 5F6 can produce sounds suitable for a variety of musical styles.
