870236
Freedom Custom Guitar Research USED Semi-Order 60s JB 4st (3-Tone Sunburst)
Bargain second-hand items have arrived.

FREEDOM enjoys the deep trust of professional bassists. Their original models, such as the Dulake and Rhino, fully showcase the expertise cultivated in their workshop, further solidifying their reputation as a highly skilled instrument maker with exceptional sound.

This instrument is the equivalent of the current "Retro Series." Based on the quintessential alder/rosewood 60s specification, it features a relatively slim and moderately thick, easy-to-handle neck shape. Combined with a lightweight alder body, it delivers a thick, mellow vintage sound, excellent usability as a main bass, and great clarity in a band setting, resulting in an extremely practical instrument.

With its clay dot position markers and ultra-thin nitrocellulose lacquer finish, this guitar boasts an appearance that closely resembles vintage instruments, while employing SPEEDY stainless steel frets (verified by the decal on the back of the headstock) that offer a tone very close to that of typical nickel silver frets and provide high rust and wear resistance. Each instrument is carefully assembled not just as a vintage replica, but as a musical instrument that can be used for a lifetime.

Due to the lacquer finish, there are some paint splatters, minor scratches and dents, paint chips, cracks, and tarnishing of parts, but it is perfectly playable. The electronics are equipped with CTS potentiometers and Orange Drop amps. The truss rod is a bit stiff when tightening, but still within the normal adjustment range with plenty of room to go, and the neck condition is good. Not only is it ready to play right away, but the robustness of our workshop's instruments as "tools" is also a major attraction. This is a guitar that we hope you will cherish as a long-lasting companion.

Weight ≈ 4.13kg
S/N: #00513

Body: Alder
Neck: Maple
Fingerboard: Rosewood
Controls: 2 Volume, Tone
(Due to the lack of a spec sheet, only the visible portion is shown.)

Hard case included
