The fingerboard is glued using a slab construction, and the position markers are clay dots that replicate the look of aged wood. The neck finish is a heavy relic finish with a large section of material removed from the back of the neck. The fingerboard radius is a flat 9.5R, and the frets are narrow-sized #6105, giving it modern specifications. This results in excellent volume control, enabling gain control such as lead sounds at full volume, backing tones around 7, and clean tones below 5.
