As a result, if the internal operating voltage is low, it cannot accurately reproduce the sound of active basses or acoustic guitars with wide dynamics. To solve this problem, the Radial J48 uses a built-in switching power supply to raise the internal operating voltage from the typical 3V found in most DIs to 9V. This allows for sufficient headroom, providing distortion-free, faithful reproduction of the original sound even with large signals.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e In addition to a phase inversion switch, a 15dB pad switch, and a ground lift switch, the Radial J48 also features a unique stereo-to-mono merge switch and an 80Hz high-pass filter switch.
