The silicon circuit's bias is fixed at 4.5V internally and does not require adjustment (it operates very stably).\u003cbr\u003e Inside the pedal, there's an \"input control\" knob. By default, it's turned all the way to the right, but turning it to the left slightly reduces the overall gain, making the sound brighter and improving its compatibility with wah pedals. Sometimes, slightly reducing the gain can add more body to the tone, but experimenting to find your preferred sound is part of the fun.\u003cbr\u003e Finally, please note that this is based on a 50-year-old fuzz circuit. Especially with the fuzz set to maximum in the 70s style, noise and distortion may occur. Lowering the fuzz setting slightly will eliminate these issues. If you want a rocket-like blast of sound but can tolerate a slight \"buzzing\" noise that doesn't bother you while playing, then leave it as is.
