As you increase the gain on the Broadcast, the transformers and the pedal's discrete circuitry begin to saturate, creating a gentle, dynamic compression and a subtle thickness in the midrange. With the gain switch set high and the trim control turned up, the Broadcast begins to output heavier distortion sounds with a warm, fuzzy edge.
