A high-quality insertion cable from Oyaide Electric that supports FX loops with TRS phone jacks!
This is an insertion cable (Y cable) designed to provide optimal sound quality for FX loops (SEND/RETURN function) using 6.3mm TRS phone jacks.
Even when used in an FX loop through which audio signals pass, it does not compromise sound quality and allows for compact and smart routing.
The following is quoted from the manufacturer's website:
The cable used is the Oyaide Electric 3398-SY. The shielded cable uses precision conductor 102SSC, which improves the effect and resolution between SEND and RETURN.
The 3398-SY has an outer diameter of 3mm (less than half the diameter of a regular guitar cable), but has the same conductor (AWG20) as a regular guitar cable, allowing for flexible handling while minimizing deterioration in sound quality.
The plug is the renowned Oyaide P-6.3L, which is small and approximately 10.5mm thick, making it easy to handle even in a crowded effects board, and allowing for greater flexibility in your effects board layout.
Furthermore, the plug is insulated with red and black shrink tubing, which is a consideration for visibility while focusing on reducing weight and wasting space as much as possible.
