It is equipped with input, output, send, and return, and is switched on\/bypass with a footswitch, but the effects loop is always active whether the gate is on or in bypass mode (buffered bypass).\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e THRESHOLD control:\u003cbr\u003e This setting determines the input signal level required to open the gate. Turning it fully counterclockwise keeps the gate open, allowing all signals to pass through. Turning it clockwise increases the signal level required to open the gate.\u003cbr\u003e REDUCTION control:\u003cbr\u003e This adjusts the degree of signal attenuation when the gate is activated. The reduction range can be set between -70dB (fully clockwise) and +4dB (fully counterclockwise) (you can also boost the noise as desired instead of reducing it).\u003cbr\u003e RELEASE control:\u003cbr\u003e This setting determines the time between when the gate is open and the input signal falls below the threshold, and when the gate closes.
