The body retains the appearance of the original neck-through design with a raised central section, but the neck uses a set-neck and SlimTaper profile for enhanced playability, making it more comfortable and easier to handle than ever before. Furthermore, the Thunderbird Bass headstock adopts the popular non-reverse style, allowing for quick and intuitive tuning. Other modern updates include Hipshot Ultralite Mini Clover tuning machines for accurate tuning and improved balance, as well as a Hipshot Supertone bridge that provides perfect intonation and adjustable action height.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e Like the bird-like mythical spirit from Native American cultures that gave the bass its name, the Thunderbird Bass delivers a powerful sound. Each pickup has its own independent volume control, allowing you to use them individually or blend them in your preferred ratio. Furthermore, a master tone control allows for even finer adjustments to the tone.
