851309
Fender USA VINTAGE Jazz Bass late'74 Modify OlympicWhite/M
Since its release in 1960, the Jazz Bass has been a staple of Fender's bass lineup alongside the Precision Bass, and continues to influence the music scene to this day. Numerous variations and reissues of the original, as well as models inspired by it by other companies, have been produced, establishing it as a solid standard for electric bass guitars.

The guitar we have in stock this time is a 1974 model that has been modified to active specifications and is equipped with a Bartolini preamp.

【body】
The overall weight is approximately 4.5 kg. The body is made of alder. The Olympic White color, with its striking fading and weather-checking, is eye-catching. While there is weather-checking, paint chipping, dents, and other scratches, as well as tarnished metal parts, the instrument is in excellent condition. The bridge unit and control knobs have been replaced. While there is weather-checking, paint chipping around the finger rests and elbow contours, belt buckle marks on the back of the body, and tarnished parts, the instrument exudes a wonderful vintage feel. The bridge has been replaced with the familiar Leo Quan "Badass Bass II." The output jack has been moved to the side of the body due to the change in the four control knobs, and the 9V battery box has been relocated to the back of the body. All set screws have also been replaced.

【neck】
The neck is made of one piece of maple. A crack in the wood near the nut caused by a loose truss rod has been repaired along with the truss rod being reinstalled, and the first fret position mark has been replaced accordingly. There is overall weather checking, fading on the headstock due to age, and some crisp paint chipping and dents on the back of the neck, typical of this period. Like the body, the condition is quite appealing. The tuners have been replaced with GOTOH GB640s at our shop. The frets have been filed and adjusted at our shop, ensuring good playability. The fingerboard has been repainted following the refret. The headstock is 14.1mm thick. The nut width is 38.3mm. The neck profile is relatively solid.

[Electrical system]
The controls are four knobs: two volume controls and two preamp controls (bass/treble). The pickups have been replaced with Fender Vintage '66 Jazz Bass Set pickups. The preamp is a Bartolini TBT preamp. The pot, capacitor, and output jack have also been replaced. The classic alder body and one-piece maple neck, combined with the pickups' tight, solid low end, produce a vintage-inspired tone with a distinct definition. Furthermore, the Bartolini TBT preamp combines vintage style with the sound-shaping flexibility of an active bass, resulting in a practical and expressive sound.

Accessories: Fender replacement hard case

Weight: 4.5kg
Body Material: Alder
Neck Material/Scale Length: Maple 1 piece/864.0mm (34inch)
Fingerboard/Fret Marker/Radius: Maple 1 piece/Pearloid Block/184.15mm (7.25inch)
Nut Width/Fret Size: 38.3mm/2.7mm, 20 Fret
Neck Thickness (1F/7F/12F): 21.1mm/23.8mm/24.5mm
Pickup (Neck/Bridge): Fender Pure Vintage '66 Jazz Bass Set (replaced) w/Bartolini TBT Preamp

-------Heartman Vintage Guitars is Ikebe Music's vintage guitar and bass specialty store-------
//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0638/4173/0673/files/VINTAGE_Jazz_Bass_late_74_Modify_OlympicWhite_M_01.jpg?v=1772002510
